Booking Rules

1. Advance Reservations

Reservations are made through OpenCourt and are subject to membership tier, booking window, availability, and applicable reservation limits.

Same-day unused capacity may be made available when the schedule allows. Walk-in play is not guaranteed.

2. Membership-Based Booking Access

Reservation limits and advance-booking access are determined by membership tier.

Premium Members may hold up to 2 active advance reservations at a time, while Ultimate Members may hold up to 4. Basic Membership is subject to current fair-access reservation guidelines.

Certain club programming, participation opportunities, or additional booking access may be managed separately when capacity allows. Additional access does not permanently change the reservation limits or access included with a membership tier.

3. Reservation Duration

Reservations are booked in the time blocks offered through OpenCourt.

Additional same-day court time may be available when capacity allows and must be approved through the front desk or current booking system.

4. Open Play vs Private Courts

Open Play is shared, rotating play offered during designated sessions.

Private courts are reserved for your own group and must be booked through OpenCourt.

Court allocations may be adjusted between Open Play, private reservations, programming, and events based on demand and club operations.

5. Open Play booking and event rules

Open Play is intended for shared, rotating play and equal access among registered participants.

Open Play reservations may not be used to host private events, reserve space for a single group, coordinate large groups in a way that limits normal player flow, or set up decorations, tables, large food arrangements, or other event-style activities.

If a booking functions as a private or organized event, Pickle Alley may reclassify it as an event and apply the appropriate event rates, staffing, and availability requirements.

6. Check-In & Late Arrival

All players must check in at the front desk before beginning play.

For private-court reservations, courts may be released if the reservation holder has not checked in within 15 minutes of the scheduled start time.

For Open Play, players should arrive and check in near the scheduled start time. If a session is full or a waitlist is active, late arrivals may lose their spot. Later check-in may be accommodated when capacity allows.

7. Group Size

Private-court reservations are limited to a maximum of six (6) players per court unless otherwise approved by Pickle Alley.

Groups requiring multiple courts or coordinated play across courts may be subject to event or organized-programming requirements. Contact Pickle Alley in advance for larger group arrangements.

8. Guests & Non-Members

Guests and non-members must follow all club, booking, and participation rules.

Non-members may book eligible private courts, Open Play, clinics, lessons, events, and other programming through OpenCourt at applicable non-member rates and within current booking windows.

Member guest benefits, guest passes, and guest pricing are governed by the applicable membership tier and current club policies.

9. Court Use & Organized Programming

Court reservations are intended for normal pickleball play unless otherwise approved by Pickle Alley.

Coaching, leagues, ladders, tournaments, clinics, round robins, structured group sessions, externally branded activities, and other organized programming require prior approval from Pickle Alley.

Organized programming includes sessions where an organizer coordinates participants across one or more courts, assigns matches or rotations, tracks scores or standings, directs player movement, or otherwise operates a structured activity.

Casual games among friends are welcome. Standard member or private-court reservations may not be used to operate independent programming, recurring organized groups, or events without prior approval.

10. Staff Authority

Pickle Alley staff may manage court assignments, resolve booking conflicts, and reassign or adjust courts when necessary for safety, capacity, programming, events, or club operations.

Pickle Alley may update booking rules, participation limits, court allocations, and related policies as membership, demand, capacity, or operating needs change. Current published policies and booking-system settings govern access and reservations.

11. DUPR Reporting Policy

Pickle Alley provides DUPR score logging as a courtesy only. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or responsible for DUPR, its platform, or its rating system.

By participating in any DUPR-logged event at Pickle Alley, you agree to the following:

  • Limited Role: Pickle Alley’s sole function is to input match participants and scores as reported. We do not verify, validate, or control how DUPR processes that data.
  • Player Responsibility: Players are responsible for confirming participants and scores when requested and for promptly reporting known errors. Once submitted, corrections are subject to DUPR’s platform capabilities and Pickle Alley’s correction policy.
  • No Control Over Ratings: All ratings, calculations, adjustments, and outcomes are determined exclusively by DUPR. Pickle Alley has no ability to influence, modify, or reverse rating changes.
  • No Liability for Outcomes: Pickle Alley is not responsible for any impact to a player’s DUPR rating, including impacts resulting from entry errors, corrections, or disputed results.
  • Corrections: While corrections may be submitted at our discretion, we are under no obligation to make changes once results are entered.
  • No Refunds or Credits: Refunds or credits will not be issued for any reason related to DUPR scores, ratings, data entry, corrections, or perceived rating impact.
  • Final Authority: Any disputes regarding ratings, match results within DUPR, or account impacts must be directed to DUPR. Their platform and policies govern all outcomes.

Participation in DUPR-logged events constitutes full acceptance of this policy.

12. Additional Availability

Pickle Alley may make additional reservations, participation opportunities, or same-day capacity available beyond a membership tier’s standard advance reservation limits.

Additional availability is discretionary and does not permanently increase or modify the access included with a membership tier.
