WHAT STUDENTS LEARN

Students gain a strong foundation in pickleball, including:

  • History and basics of the sport
  • Rules, scoring, and gameplay
  • Court positioning and simple strategy
  • Fundamental skills (serving, volleys, groundstrokes)

The program also builds sportsmanship, confidence, and physical fitness in a supportive environment.

Coach Chris is a 4.8-rated player and sponsored local amateur pro who brings both skill and heart to the court. Originally from Sacramento, CA, he comes from a strong family background in education, including SPED, homeschooling, and unschooling, making him especially well-suited for working with homeschool families.

With 6+ years of experience coaching and mentoring youth of all ages (K–12 and beyond), Chris creates a positive, structured, and encouraging environment where students can build confidence, learn fundamentals, and genuinely enjoy physical education. His natural ability to connect with kids helps every student feel supported, capable, and motivated to grow.
